“Oh yes! Oh, fuck! Let me fuck your tongue, baby.”
Inside Shannon’s pussy felt warm as she went up and down on my tongue. Her juice was using my tongue as a funnel into my mouth and I had never felt anything so erotic. Her wet pussy on my face caused my orgasm to start churning again. I released her ass and brought a hand between my legs as Shannon picked up the pace. My tongue slipped from her hole because of the speed she was going. Her pussy was no longer confined to my lips because my face had now joined her efforts to achieve maximum pleasure.
I rubbed my clit and the feel of Shannon’s pussy washing my face pushed me over the edge and I moan into her wetness. That sent Shannon over the edge and soon she was crying out as she fucked my face mercilessly.
“Fuuuuuuuuuck! Yeeeees! Fuuuuuuck!” she cried, and her legs trapped my head as her body was rocked by the force or her orgasm.
It felt amazing to cum with her despite losing a few brain function from the lack of oxygen. Shannon fell beside me on the bed and I was almost lifeless as we both tried to get as much air into our lungs as possible.
“Good...thing...I'm used to rough sex,” I said.
“Totally,” she laughed. “Sorry, babe.”
“Don’t be sorry for making me cum twice.”
Shannon was clearly much stronger than I was because she rolled over to check on my face.
“Oh, baby. I get carried away during sex. Did I hurt you?”
“No. I’ll survive. How bad does it look because I have a meeting in the morning.”
“Oh shit,” she said and got off the bed then disappeared into the bathroom.
Shannon returned with a cold washcloth and pressed it above my lip and on my nose.
“What did you do?” I asked when I saw the worried look on her face.
I got off the bed and looked in the mirror, but it was not as bad as I thought. It would fade by morning and makeup would take care of the rest.
“Are you OK?” she asked biting her lips.
“Come here,” I smiled and she walked into my arms. “I love you so much.”
“I love you too, Ari.”
We stood in each other’s arms for a while, just allowing our naked bodies to melt into one. Shannon was mine, and I was worried that I would wake up and it was a dream.
“Shan, I pray that I’m not dreaming.”
“After that fuck you gave me? I’m positive I’m not dreaming,” she said, and I laughed.
Shannon pulled back and examined my face.
“How are you so beautiful?”
“I wasn’t always this way. It only happened after I fell in love with you,” I smiled.
“God, I love you!”
Shannon pulled me into her arms for another tight hug before releasing me. She bent down to her suitcase and opened it, so I told her which drawers she could have. Her suitcase contained a lot of folders of documents and bags of jewelry. She had very little clothes, but found pajamas and underwear which she quickly slipped into.
“I will leave these envelopes in the suitcase until I go through them, but I only need two drawers. One for my jewelry and one for my clothes…”
“Nonsense. Here. Take the jewelry and come with me,” I said and took a few of the jewelry bags that contained some beautiful expensive pieces. “Put them in my jewelry safe. I will make room for you.”
“Thank you,” she said after I gave her the code to get in.
“This is beautiful,” I said as I looked through the mesh at a blue and gold bracelet.
“Yea. It was my mother’s. Most of these belonged to her because my father spent his whole life apologizing to her about things he never did, and he had to do so with a piece of jewelry,” she explained and that was when I realized that I knew nothing about her. I was excited to learn who Shannon Bailey really was.
“Sounds like you are talking in the past tense.”
“Yes. My mother died the day after my graduation from college and my father died shortly after that,” Shannon said and I waited for her to give me more details about their deaths, but that was all she said.
I was not sure if I should ask, but I also didn’t want her to think I was insensitive.
“How did they die?”
“Let’s just say it was my fault because my entire family felt so, including my brother,” she said as she continued to pack her things in her drawer.
Somehow I felt like Shannon was an only child and when I heard about her having a brother, it was a little shocking to me.
“Why would he think that?”
“Because she was on her way to pick up a car as a graduation present and she was hit.”
“So how did that become your fault?”
“Because I was a grown woman whining about how much she loved my brother more than me because she refused to buy me a new car as a graduation gift,” she said then quickly zipped her suitcase rather nonchalantly until she stood up and I saw the pain in her eyes. “I try not to talk about it, and more importantly, I block it from my mind whenever possible. Where can I put this? I have important documents inside.”
“The closet is through that door,” I said and pointed to my walk-in closet that had way too many clothes but had more than enough space for her bag.
I waited for Shannon to exit the closet but I realize that she was taking longer than usual, so I went to check on her and found her on her knees with tears running down her face. I was not sure if she was crying about her mother or if she was crying about what she had done to Raj. I decided to assume it had to do with her mother since that was the last topic we were on before she came into the closet.
“Hey...babe,” I said, putting my finger under her chin and raising her head to look at me. I used my thumbs to wipe the tears from her eyes. “Honey, you know this was not your fault, right?”
“No.”
“Well, it's not. Despite what everyone else says, it's not your fault.”
“How do you know?” she asked looking into my eyes begging for something that would rid her of the guilt she carried all these years.
“Because if you had to choose between the car and your mother, you would have chosen her. You couldn't have known it would end that way because if you did, you would never have asked. It's not your fault,” I said and hoped that she was able to see that for herself.
Shannon bit her lower lip and nodded then leaned forward onto my shoulder. I held her close and I hated how confusing and painful everything was at the moment, but I could see down the road, and I knew she would be the happiest woman in the world because I would make sure of it. However, as she made her transition in love, there were unfinished issues that needed to be worked out with Raj and the sooner she got to it, the sooner we can start building our life together.
“I love you,” she whispered into my shoulder and I closed my eyes to savor the beautiful feeling her words gave me.
I held Shannon’s hand and led her out of the closet, and the moment we got out, her phone started to ring. She stopped suddenly and her eyes popped open with recognition that Raj was calling her, although she did not see the screen of her phone, which was in the living room. I went to get it and sure enough, it was Raj. I took the phone to Shannon but it stopped ringing before she got a chance to respond, although it didn’t seem like she had any intention to.
The phone started ringing again.
“Are you going to answer it?” I asked.
“No...I don’t know what to say.”
“Just answer and when he asks where you are then tell him you are here with me.”
“And when he asks when I’m coming home what am I going to say?”
“Tell him you would like to speak to him. You could go to the house and have a conversation, meet at a restaurant...or he could come here. I think here is the best option.”
“I can’t. I don’t want to look at his face and...I don’t want to hurt him,” Shannon said over the ringing of the phone.
“There is no way to avoid hurting him.
This is something you will have to tell him, Shannon. You can’t just run away and not say anything to him,” I explained. “Please answer him.”
Raj was not giving up and the phone kept ringing. Shannon kept looking at her phone, and finally, shaky fingers swiped.
“Hi…,” she said and cleared her throat. “Hi, Raj.”
“Hi, baby. You're not going to believe where I got reservations for us tonight,” he said with excitement and I closed my eyes at how horrible this day was going to end.
“Raj…,” Shannon started then threw the phone on the bed and slipped to the floor.
“Honey?” Raj asked worriedly. “Babe...is everything OK?” he asked and still no response. “Shannon, where are you?”
“Hi, Raj,” I said. It was time for me to step in because Shannon clearly had no idea how to go about telling Raj that she was moving on.
“Who’s this? Arien?”
“Yes, it’s me,” I said and he went silent.
Raj knew. His silence spoke so loud, and my heart was racing for what was about to unfold. I had to be careful about what I would say to him because I didn’t want Shannon to be upset with me.
“I need to speak to my wife,” he finally said and I noted his reminder that she belonged to him.
“She can’t speak to you right now. However, I can.”
“I am not interested in speaking to you, Arien. I would like to speak to my wife.”
“Suit yourself,” I said and place the phone on the bed.
I went to Shannon and sat beside her. I put my arm around her and brought her to lay on my shoulder.
“Shannon!” we could hear Raj shouting over the phone speaker. “Come to the phone right now! I need to talk to you.”
“Are you going to talk to him?” I asked her.
“I can’t.”
“Shannon!”
“Should I hand up?” I asked her.
“Shannon!”
“No. You talk to him, please,” she begged.
“He doesn’t want to talk to me. Besides, I don’t know what you want me to say to him. You have to speak to him, babe.”
“Arien!” Raj called, realizing that Shannon was not going to speak to him.
“I’m here,” I replied.
“What's going on, Arien? Why is Shannon not speaking to me?”
“Raj, I think Shannon needs to speak to you face to face. Why don’t you come to my apartment so we can talk?” I suggest and saw Shannon looking at me shaking her head in objection. “I think that’s the best thing for everybody.”
“I’m on my way,” he said and disconnected the call.
Upon hearing his words, Shannon started crying hysterically. I went into the bathroom to get a cold washcloth and pressed it against her eyes then wiped her face. I held up her face to look at me.
“Shannon, I know this whole thing sucks and I know you don’t want to hurt Raj, but I want you to know that I desperately want you in my life because I love you more than anything in this world. If you think you have made the wrong decision and you want to go home with Raj, then tell me. I don’t want you to be with me but regretting your decision every day.”
Shannon did not answer and took a deep breath. I started to tremble inside because she seemed to be considering my offer. I was sick to my stomach that I was so close to having her yet could just lose her the next time she spoke.
Shannon stood up and tried to compose herself. She did not immediately speak, instead, she kept breathing in and out to gather herself.
“Arien, I have been thinking about this since the first day I met you. I left Raj, and I am here with you. I did not make that decision lightly and need no additional time to be sure that I want to spend the rest of my life with you,” she said and the tears burned the back of my eyes. “Come here.”
I walked into her wide-opened arms and despite someone who didn’t cry easily, I was not able to stop the tears from coming down. Shannon squeezed me tight and my heart was so grateful that I got to be with the love of my life. I prayed that nothing Raj came with would cause Shannon to change her mind, but I was confident in her words that she was sure she wanted to be with me. My world was so pale, although I had every tool at my disposal to achieve greatness, instead I fooled myself into thinking that alcohol and sex were all I needed. My choice of friends encouraged those limited, senseless desires until Shannon came into my life. She was my turning point, and I hoped that I was hers.
“What are we having for dinner,” she said pulling away and giving me a smile. Her face was red from all the cries and emotions, but she was still the most beautiful woman I had ever seen.
“We could order in.”
“Sounds good. Let's just get this conversation with Raj out of the way,” she said and took my lips between hers. “I love you,” she said into my mouth.
“I love you too.”
Shannon got dressed conservatively but still looked like she was at home, so that would immediately send the message to Raj that she was not leaving with him. I knew he would be here any moment so I picked up the phone to tell security to expect him. I also told them that he was not allowed to leave the building until they found out from me if it was OK. I was asked if I needed a guard by my door, but I refused. It could turn out to be a very heated conversation, and when people feel like they have lost something so significant, they might lose control and do things they otherwise would not have done. But this was Raj, someone I had known for three years, who had been in this apartment numerous times, and I knew him enough to know that he would not react violently. Still, it made sense to be a little cautious.
Shannon was putting on a brave face since I gave her the choice of going home with Raj. She probably thought her actions were sending me the wrong message that this was not what she wanted, and to prove that it wasn’t the case, she seemed ready to take on this confrontation with Raj. So now we wait for Shannon to close this chapter of her life and start a new one with me that promised to be filled with love and happiness.
Chapter 16
Shannon and I were sitting on the sofa in the living room when security called to tell me that Raj was here. I told them to send him up.
“Are you OK?” I asked Shannon.
“Not really,” she replied. “But I will be OK because I will have you, right?”
“Absolutely,” I said and gave her a quick kiss.
There was a knock on the door and a quick look at Shannon showed nothing but fear on her face. It was a horrible position for her to be in because she truly loved Raj and didn’t want to hurt him. I got up and opened the door and the face that greeted me was the same as the one sitting on my sofa.
Raj pushed past me without saying a word and quickly made his way over to Shannon. He got on her knees and held her hands.
“Honey, what’s going on?” he asked and Shannon took a deep breath and looked at me for confidence.
“Raj...I have been struggling for a while now...and I didn’t want to hurt you. I tried so hard because I loved you so much and you have been nothing but the best husband to me…”
“And I always will be.”
“But I can’t anymore…”
“Can’t what?” he asked and he looked at her terrified of what she would say.
“I...I…,” Shannon started in a low voice then took a deep breath. “I fell in love with Arien...and I can’t be a wife to you anymore.”
Raj released her hands as the shock of her words printed on his face. He suspected that was the case, but to hear her say it was a hard blow to his brain. Maybe he thought that even if she was in love with me, she might admit to cheating or something else but ending their marriage was not what he expected.
“So you are leaving me? You are ending our marriage?” he asked in disbelief and Shannon was close to dying.
“Y-yes. I’m not happy, Raj. I can’t eat. I can’t sleep...you know this. I have to be with her.”
Raj got to his feet then sat on the sofa across from Shannon and
rested his face in his hands. When he finally held his head up, his eyes were watering and was clearly fighting his tears back. He turned to look at me, and I understood what Shannon was afraid of. The look in Raj’s eyes was heartbreaking.
“I took you into my home as a friend so we could have some fun, and you break up my marriage, Arien?” he asked but while I was gathering the appropriate response, he continued. “It was an innocent act on my part. I had no idea that it would result in me losing my wife. How could you do this to me, Arien?”
“I did not go to your house to do this, Raj. If you recall, you had to convince me to do it because I didn’t want to go. I met Shannon and instantly there was this deep connection between us. We had no control over how we felt because it was instant,” I explained then sat beside Shannon so we could both feed on each other’s strength to get through this evening. “I'm really sorry that this happened?”
“Are you?” Raj asked sarcastically.
“Yes. I went away for a whole month to get it together because I understood that she was your wife and…”
“Was?” he asked in disbelief.
“We didn’t want this to happen. The last time I was at your house, it was my attempt to see if we could all be together. I was prepared to move in and join your marriage so that Shannon didn’t have to hurt you and we could still be together. Then it wouldn’t matter if we loved each other or not.”
“But Shannon got all upset because she didn’t want me fucking her woman,” Raj said with a cynical laugh. “I don’t believe you two! This is so fucked up because I would have taken that option instead of losing my wife. Fuck!”
“Raj,” Shannon said. “I wanted to do that. I tried...but I couldn’t.”
“You know, Shannon, I'm just a fucking idiot! I let you talk me into doing all that shit...yes, I enjoyed myself in the process, but when we got married, I would never imagine that we would have an open marriage. You talked me into it then use that very thing to destroy what we had.”
“You brought her home!”
“With your consent!”
